- Conduct daily OPDs along with senior colleagues
- Attend to admitted patients in the hospital and discuss with the referring Consultant or the HOD as the case may be about the line of treatment
- Carry out and conduct in-house training of Type 1 patients as the need may be
- Maintain meticulous records of all patients and ensure that there is timely follow-up
- Take part in any Research-based activities of the department
- Be part of a team carrying out Camps outside of the hospital or at our Rural Hospital in Vadu
- Conduct Health screening as part of the hospital’s Health Screening packages
- Be part of the Patient Education program.
- Work closely with all colleagues within and outside the department in ensuring that the patient receives optimal care
