As a Technical architect, you will:

- Define and own end-to-end Architecture from definition to go-live phase

- Define Logical, Technical & Physical views of Architecture

- Define & develop reference architecture, toolkits, and solution accelerators

- Define reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team

- Review design to make sure design is aligned with Architecture

- Mentor & guide Tech Leads & Software Engineers

- Participating in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions.

- Being responsible for Scaling, Performance & Quality for the team.

- Setting up best practices to help the team achieve the above and constantly thinking about improving

- The technology use are your responsibilities. Driving the adoption of these best practices around coding, design, quality, performance in your team

- Experiment with current & relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption while measuring yourself on the impact you are able to create

- Implementation of long term technology vision for your team

- Creating architectures & designs for new solutions around existing and new problem

- Closely monitor technology and industry trends, visible thought leadership through blogs, white papers and point of views

- Good understanding & experience of high performance web scale & real-time response systems.

- Experience & exposure to a variety of large scale persistent systems including large databases.

- Exposure to complete product development cycles from inception to production to scaling up, supporting new requirements, re-architectures - the Architects should have seen it all.

- Excellent mentoring skills be the technical mentor to your team.

- Understanding of big data platforms concepts and NoSQL technologies, and ability to map such tools to context

- Must have hands-on experience of design methodologies and architecture principles for different kinds of applications

- Knowledge of UML

- Good knowledge on Database Designing skills

- In depth knowledge on at least one designing / modeling tool such as Enterprise Architect Visio

- Certification in any Architecture related area is a plus
