Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to teach Grades XI & XII. The ideal candidate should possess solid subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for Board examinations and competitive entrance examinations such as NEET, JEE, and other science entrance tests.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Chemistry to Grades XI & XII as per the CBSE/State Board curriculum.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and deliver engaging classroom instruction.
- Train students for Board examinations and competitive entrance examinations.
- Teach Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and practical laboratory concepts.
- Conduct Chemistry laboratory practicals while ensuring laboratory safety and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Prepare question papers, assignments, worksheets, practical records, unit tests, and model examinations.
- Conduct revision classes and doubt-clearing sessions to improve student performance.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance and mentoring.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Use smart classroom technology, simulations,



and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Encourage students to participate in science exhibitions, Olympiads, research projects, and innovation activities.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, examinations, school events, and departmental activities.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and academic reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve academic excellence and board examination results.

Required Skills

- Strong subject knowledge in Higher Secondary Chemistry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Effective classroom management
- Lesson planning and assessment preparation
- Practical laboratory management and chemical safety
- Board examination and NEET/JEE coaching experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, Smart Boards, School ERP, and digital teaching tools

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience teaching CBSE and/or Matric Higher Secondary classes
- Proven record of excellent board examination results
- Ability to mentor students for competitive examinations
- Knowledge of NEP 2020 and competency-based learning
- Ability to integrate technology into classroom teaching

Salary

₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Based on qualifications and experience)
