Position Summary :-

The Lab Mechanical Engineer is responsible for conducting mechanical and metallurgical testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, international standards, and quality requirements. The role requires hands-on experience in operating and maintaining testing equipment such as Universal Testing Machine (UTM), Rockwell Hardness Tester, Brinell Hardness Tester (BHN), Vickers Hardness Tester, and Impact Testing Machine.

Requirements:-

- Good knowledge of mechanical testing methods and laboratory practices.
- Good knowledge of ASTM A370, ASTM E23, ASTM E10, ASTM E18, and other relevant testing standards.
- Experience in operating Universal Testing Machine (UTM), Charpy Impact Testing Machine, Rockwell Hardness Tester, Brinell Hardness Tester, and Micro Vickers Hardness Tester.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer Height Gauge, and other inspection tools.
- Ability to prepare and maintain quality records, testing reports,



and related documentation accurately.
- The candidate must have hands-on experience working independently in a Mechanical Laboratory and should be capable of handling the complete Mechanical Lab operations including testing, documentation, equipment handling.

Qualification:- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:- 2 to 4 years of experience in a Mechanical Testing & Quality Control
