We work closely with autistic children and young adults who may have faced challenges within traditional educational environments academically, emotionally, and socially. About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Teacher to support the physical, sensory, and developmental growth of children, including students on the Autism Spectrum. The ideal candidate should possess foundational knowledge in yoga, sensory-based activities, and physical training, along with the ability to create a protected, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct structured sports and physical education sessions for students.
- Incorporate yoga practices to support flexibility, balance, mindfulness, and overall well-being.
- Design and implement sensory-based activities that aid motor coordination, body awareness, and sensory regulation.
- Work closely with autistic children and adapt activities according to individual needs and abilities.
- Facilitate age-appropriate physical training routines focused on strength, endurance, coordination, and fitness development.
- Ensure student safety and maintain discipline during all physical activities and sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists,



and support staff to align physical activities with developmental goals.
- Observe student participation and provide feedback regarding progress and engagement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in physical education, Psychology, Sports Science, or a related field preferred.
- Basic certification or practical knowledge in Yoga.
- Understanding of sensory activities and sensory integration techniques.
- Experience, internship, volunteering, or exposure to working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Basic understanding of physical training and child fitness development.

- Ability to engage students with diverse learning and developmental needs.
- Good observation and activity management skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative working approach.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.

Eligibility Criteria

- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with prior exposure to special education environments will be preferred.

Compensation & Work Details

- Salary: Based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.
- Working Days & Timings: Monday to Saturday.
