Position: Team Member – Tool Room
Industry: Japanese MNC – DC Motor Manufacturing
Location: Tambaram, MEPZ, Chennai

Qualification: ITI / Diploma (Mechanical, Tool & Die, Production or Relevant Trade)

A leading Japanese multinational company specializing in DC Motor Manufacturing is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Tool Room Team Members to support tool maintenance, machining, and production activities. Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain tool room equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and servicing of tools, jigs, fixtures, and dies.
- Assist in tool assembly, modification, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support production by ensuring timely availability of tools and equipment.
- Inspect tools for wear and damage and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain tool room records, maintenance logs, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to minimize downtime.
- Follow 5S, safety standards,



and company procedures within the tool room.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tool performance and productivity.

Preferred Profile

- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, Production, or a related discipline.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 3 years of experience in a Tool Room or Manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of tool room operations, machining processes, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Height Gauge.
- Knowledge of drilling, milling, grinding, or lathe operations will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and a manufacturing environment.
