Role Overview

ACHYON is seeking a hands-on, collaborative Lead SDET to guide UI automation strategy, framework architecture, and continuous improvement for frontend quality practices.

This role provides technical leadership to the UI test automation team and ensures Playwright-based suites are robust, maintainable, effective, and aligned with modern web application delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to SDET and QA engineers.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Playwright-based UI automation frameworks.
- Architect and enforce Page Object Model and data-driven testing practices.
- Design test plans with Product Owners and align automation scripts with BDD delivery practices.
- Improve regression reliability, reduce flakiness, and ensure meaningful assertions in UI tests.
- Collaborate with product, development, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated quality outcomes.

Core Skills

- Deep expertise in Playwright, TypeScript,



and UI automation design patterns.
- Experience with Jest, Karate, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of explicit waits, locator strategy, atomic test design, reporting, and analytics.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- 6+ years of hands-on SDET, QA, or software engineering experience.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Track record of architecting scalable, reliable UI automation systems.
- Experience mentoring engineers in cross-functional agile teams.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
