About the job:
Responsible for the Logistics Operation & Projects for one or multiple regions in India while ensuring compliance to group norm, drive cost efficient 3PL DC operation, ensure compliance to Internal Control & Audit, Quality & HSE policies, Regulatory requirement, Local Legislations and Implementation of Good Distribution Practices.
Main responsibilities:
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and optimize end-to-end logistics workflows.
- Design, standardize, and implement Guidelines and process review monitoring across all distribution centers and transport networks.
- Performance Management & Analytics:
- Establish, monitor, and report on key logistics metrics (e.g., TAT, Occupancy, cost per case, warehouse utilization).
- Monitor and report on key EM Planning metrics (e.g., OTIF, Inventory, DOH, CASPA) through MIS
- Develop dashboards and data models to provide actionable insights and visibility into supply chain bottlenecks.
- Liaise with internal control and quality teams to ensure that operations are being conducted in compliant manner.
- Compliance & Data Management
- Partner with internal Risk Control and Audit teams to assess external audit observations and implement mitigation controls through process enhancements and documentation updates.
- Review and validate large datasets, including estimated volumes, MIT data submissions, supply constraint uploads in KX, and volume submissions to the Finance Controller.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across planning and reporting activities.
- Support compliance governance by maintaining required records, evidence, and process documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and strengthen control adherence.
- CMO Management:
- Independently handling E2E CMO operational activities
- MRP Planning & Inventory management
- Technology & Automation:
- Evaluate, implement, and automate logistics operations (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP modules, and automated tracking systems).
- Drive process automation initiative for the MRP Planning process through KX / SAP Unity, improving planning efficiency, standardization, and exception handling.
- Drive digitization initiatives to move away from manual tracking and improve real-time visibility.
- Network & Capability Design:
- Collaborate with internal supply chain team to review network design, freight routing, and footprint strategy to maximize cost-efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new logistics technologies, infrastructure upgrades.
- Vendor & Change Management:
- Partner with Procurement to evaluate 3PL onboarding for warehousing and transportation.
- Act as a change agent, training and coaching logistics teams on new processes, tools, and excellence frameworks.
About you:
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in logistics, distribution, supply chain operations, with a proven track record in a process-improvement or "excellence" role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in logistics tools (WMS, TMS, SAP/Oracle ERP)
- Hands on experience on KINAXIS tool
- Advanced data analytics skills (Excel, Power BI)
- Soft Skills: Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
