Accounts Manager — Ramapuram, Kottayam

About us

We are an established rubber processing unit and dealership handling procurement, processing and trading of natural rubber. We are looking for an Accounts Manager to take charge of day-to-day accounts and stock records, with accommodation provided by the employer.

Experience: 2–3 years in accounts (experience in a trading, commodity or processing business preferred)

Location: Ramapuram, Kottayam (accommodation provided)

Key responsibilities

Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime, including purchase, sales, journal and payment entries

Handle grade-wise stock and godown records — RSS sheets, latex, scrap and processed output — and reconcile physical stock with books

Record daily procurement from farmers, agents and dealers, and process payments accurately and on time

Carry out ledger scrutiny, identify misclassifications and pass rectification entries

Reconcile bank accounts, debtor and creditor ledgers, and monitor outstanding balances and credit limits





Maintain records of weighment, delivery challans, transport and commission

Prepare periodic MIS — purchase and sales summaries, stock movement and margin statements — for management

Coordinate with the firm's auditors and consultants for statutory data and documentation

Requirements

Working knowledge of Tally Prime and sound accounting fundamentals

Ability to independently scrutinise ledgers and spot errors

Familiarity with GST, income tax and TDS portals

Valuable communication skills in English and Malayalam

Willingness to learn, work as part of a team and take ownership of assignments

B.Com/M.Com or equivalent
