Job Description: Primary Mathematics Teacher

Position: Primary Maths Teacher

Experience Required: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in teaching primary classes

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Teach Mathematics to primary students (Classes 3 to 5) using age-appropriate and engaging methods.
- Build strong foundational concepts in numbers, operations, measurements, shapes, and problem-solving.
- Plan lessons as per the curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Use activity-based learning, teaching aids, manipulatives, and ICT tools to enhance understanding.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, and simple assessments to monitor student progress.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support when required.
- Maintain academic records, assessment reports, and student portfolios.
- Encourage logical thinking, curiosity, and confidence in Maths.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Participate in school activities,



training programs, and staff meetings.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline with Mathematics background preferred).
- B.Ed
- Training or experience in primary pedagogy will be an advantage.
