We are hiring experienced professionals for the position of Charge Entry – Demo & Charges in our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The role involves accurate entry of patient demographics and medical charge posting as per client requirements and healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Enter and verify patient demographic details in the system
- Post medical charges accurately using CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes
- Review and correct charge entry errors and rejections
- Verify and update insurance information
- Ensure timely charge submission within TAT
- Coordinate with coding and AR teams for issue resolution
- Maintain accuracy, productivity, and SLA compliance
- Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient data confidentiality
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in Charge Entry (Demo & Charges) in US Healthcare RCM
- Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
- Experience with insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial)
- Hands-on experience in billing software (eClinicalWorks, Kareo, Athena, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
