Job Summary

ValBrid Engineering and Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with 1 to 5 years of experience in EPLAN / E3 to support international substation projects for a leading power and grid customer.

The role involves development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, and engineering documentation for control and protection panels used in AIS substations. The candidate should have hands on experience in EPLAN / E3 and a good understanding of electrical panel engineering concepts.

This role offers exposure to international engineering standards, customer specific requirements, and project execution in the power transmission and distribution sector.

This role is based at Padappai, Chennai.

We are looking for candidates with positive technical understanding, strong drawing accuracy, and the ability to support project engineering requirements in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical drawings and diagrams for Control Cabinets used in AIS / GIS Circuit Breaker applications
- Develop and update schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, and related LV / HV engineering documents
- Support customer project requirements through accurate and timely drafting work
- Coordinate with engineering teams to understand design inputs and implement revisions in drawings




- Work on LV / HV engineering aspects such as layout understanding, CT, VT, and busbar interfacing
- Ensure drawing quality, correctness, and compliance with project requirements
- Maintain design documentation and support revision control during project execution
- Support engineering clarifications and customer documentation requirements where needed

Required Skills

- 1 to 5 years of experience in panel design, electrical Design and schematics
- Strong hands-on experience in EPLAN / E3 - mandatory
- Strong knowledge of LV / HV engineering including:
- Layouts
- CT and VT secondary circuits
- Busbar interfacing
- Control cabinet drawings
- Good understanding of substation equipment / systems
- Good English communication skills - mandatory
- Ability to read and understand engineering requirements and prepare accurate drawings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
