Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities, coordinate with vendors, ensure timely material availability, and maintain accurate purchase records.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and current suppliers.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and business operations.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality teams for procurement planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up with vendors.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to achieve cost savings.




- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
- Resolve issues related to material quality, delivery delays, and vendor disputes.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and documentation.
- Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and cost analysis for management.

Required Skills

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel .
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience as a Purchase Coordinator/Purchase Executive, preferably in the FMCG industry.
