About Glory Shipmanagement

Glory Shipmanagement is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented ISM Coordinator to support the company’s safety management system and ensure effective control and compliance of vessel certifications and ISM requirements across our managed fleet.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain records of all vessel and company certificates, ensuring they remain valid, updated, and properly documented.
- Monitor certification status, expiry dates, surveys, and renewals and coordinate timely action to avoid any lapses.
- Coordinate and maintain compliance with ISM Code requirements and the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments related to ISM and safety management requirements.
- Liaise with Flag State, Classification Societies, DG Shipping, MMD, and other relevant authorities regarding certifications and statutory compliance.
- Track audit findings, observations, and non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ISM, audits,



certifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with vessel teams and shore-based departments to ensure timely submission and completion of required documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in shipping certifications, ISM, or maritime compliance.
- Strong knowledge of ISM Code requirements, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and vessel certification processes.
- Experience in managing and monitoring vessel and company certificates and statutory documentation.
- Familiarity with Flag State, Class, DG Shipping, and MMD requirements.
- Experience coordinating audits, inspections, and closure of audit observations and non-conformities.
- Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple certification and compliance requirements and ensure timely renewals.
- Candidates with experience in a ship management company will be preferred.
- Candidates residing in or around Vashi / Navi Mumbai, or within a convenient commuting distance from our office, will be preferred.
