Amaatra Academy is seeking a highly passionate and driven Basketball Coach to lead and grow our basketball program. The ideal candidate has played and/or coached at a competitive level (State / National / International) and brings a deep love for the game, strong fundamentals, and a commitment to long-term athlete development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver structured training programs focused on skill development, game IQ, athleticism, and competitive mindset
Coach student-athletes across age groups, with clear progression pathways
Lead team practices, conditioning sessions, and match preparation
Instill discipline, sportsmanship, and a high-performance culture
Identify and nurture high-potential athletes for advanced competition
Coordinate with the school’s sports leadership on tournaments, leagues, and clinics
Ensure protected, professional use of Amaatra’s indoor and outdoor basketball facilities
Candidate Profile
Played and/or coached basketball at State, National, or International level
Demonstrated deep passion for the game and athlete development
Strong understanding of modern coaching methods, drills, and systems
Ability to mentor young athletes and inspire commitment and work ethic
Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff
