Job Summary

Lere Academy is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor with at least 1 year of experience in academic counselling, admissions, or EdTech sales. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills to guide prospective students, understand their career goals, and help them choose the right course while achieving enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings.
- Understand students' educational and career goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions using CRM software.
- Explain course details, fee structures, batch schedules, and admission procedures.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students throughout the enrollment journey.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead status and admissions.
- Stay updated on the academy's courses,



industry trends, and competitor offerings.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Academic Counsellor, Education Counsellor, Admission Counsellor, or in a similar role.
- Fluency in Hindi and Tamil is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a target-oriented mindset.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle multiple student inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a customer-first approach.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in the EdTech, education, training, or coaching industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of English and Malayalam is an added advantage.
