Position: Food and Beverage Attendant (Captain / Trainee Captain)

Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a premium casual dining environment. This role involves providing attentive table service, demonstrating menu knowledge, accurately taking and delivering orders, and maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and creates memorable dining experiences through genuine, qualified service.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression.
- Present menus, explain dishes, beverages, daily specials, and make informed recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets brand standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
- Develop a strong understanding of the American–European menu, including pizza offerings, ingredients, dietary requirements, and allergen information.
- Upsell menu items, beverages, desserts, and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase average spend.
- Prepare, set, clear, and reset tables efficiently while maintaining impeccable cleanliness.
- Process guest payments accurately and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.




- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and seamless service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking, polishing cutlery and glassware, and preparing service areas.

Skills and Qualifications

- Previous experience in a premium casual dining restaurant or similar hospitality environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service periods.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and wine or beverage pairing is an advantage.
- Experience using POS systems.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
