About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, disciplined, and passionate Physical Education Teacher to promote physical fitness, sports participation, teamwork, and healthy habits among students. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of sports and physical education and the ability to motivate students to actively participate in physical activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct Physical Education and sports activities for students.
- Organize regular PT periods, exercises, drills, warm-ups, and fitness activities.
- Train students in various indoor and outdoor sports and games.
- Develop students’ physical fitness, coordination, stamina, flexibility, and motor skills.
- Identify students with potential in specific sports and provide appropriate training.
- Organize and conduct school-level sports competitions, tournaments, and athletic events.
- Prepare students for inter-school and other sports competitions.
- Maintain proper records of students’ participation and performance in sports activities.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safe handling of sports equipment and facilities.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and a healthy competitive spirit.
- Ensure student safety during sports activities and follow appropriate safety procedures.




- Encourage students to participate in regular physical activity and develop healthy lifestyle habits.
- Assist in organizing Annual Sports Day, athletic meets, and other school events.
- Coordinate with teachers and school management for sports-related activities.
- Provide guidance and encouragement to students based on their individual abilities and interests.
- Participate in school assemblies, events, and co-curricular activities as required.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.
- M.P.Ed. will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience as a PT/Sports Teacher in a school will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of multiple sports and physical fitness activities.
- Strong communication and student-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of basic sports safety and first-aid practices.
- Ability to manage and motivate students effectively.
