About the Role

A reputed UAE Audit & Accounting Firm with operations in Calicut is seeking a dedicated Audit Assistant. The role is ideal for candidates who have completed CA Articleship or are CA Inter (IPCC) qualified,or candidate with 1 to 2 yrs audit experience in an audit firm , and are eager to build a career in audit and assurance with international exposure.

Note: The post is not open for ACCA/CMA Candidates, Preference for CA Candidates

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in conducting statutory, internal, and financial audits for the UAE
- Support in preparing audit working papers and documentation in line with firm standards.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE statutory requirements.
- Handle VAT compliance and filing for UAE-based clients.
- Work under the guidance of senior auditors/managers to meet project timelines.

Requirements

- CA Article ship completed or CA Inter (IPCC) cleared or with 1 to 2 yrs experience in an audit firm – mandatory.




- Strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and exposure to Indian taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software (Tally/ERP).
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in audit firms during articleship or as staff in audit firms
- Exposure to IFRS and UAE compliance frameworks.
