What the role entails

(Key Responsibilities)

- Design and develop precision mechanical components and systems for high-speed industrial machines.

- Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA.

- Perform motion and energetic analysis to optimize performance and minimize vibration.

- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and fatigue life using ANSYS or similar tools.

- Collaborate closely with electrical, controls, and automation teams to ensure seamless mechanical integration.

- Select appropriate materials for high-speed and high-durability applications.

- Apply principles of modular design for scalable and serviceable machine architectures.

- Participate in prototype development, testing, and design iteration cycles.

- Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards (e.g., ISO, CE).

- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in design processes, documentation, and cost efficiency.

What we are looking for in you

(Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility)

- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design,



preferably with high-speed machinery or automation equipment.

- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA).

- Strong understanding of mechanical dynamics, kinematics, tolerancing, and vibration mitigation.

- Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS for structural and dynamic analysis.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, sheet metal, and assembly methods.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of GD&T; and precision tolerance stack-up analysis

3 - 5 years

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
