OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Java Microservices Developer at HCLTech, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using contemporary Java technologies. Your expertise will contribute directly to the company’s mission of delivering innovative solutions to clients worldwide. You will partner with cross-functional teams to build robust, cloud-enabled microservices architectures that support the evolving needs of our clients and drive organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architectures.
- Integrate and manage data persistence using Hibernate ORM frameworks.
- Implement and maintain messaging solutions leveraging Apache Kafka for distributed systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications on cloud platforms and utilize deployment tools for CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability, scalability, and security.
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to translate requirements into high-performing technical solutions.




- Document technical designs, procedures, and user guides to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in software development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skill Requirements

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Proven programming experience in Java, with strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate for ORM and data management.
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka for event-driven and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern deployment tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
