We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content optimization, keyword research, and website analytics. You will work closely with experienced marketers and gain hands-on experience in improving website rankings and organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
- Assist in on-page SEO activities, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Support off-page SEO initiatives such as backlink research and outreach.
- Optimize website content for search engines and user experience.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Perform SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare performance reports.
- Research competitors and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams on SEO strategies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or SEO tools (preferred but not mandatory).
- Robust analytical and research skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, or Screaming Frog is an advantage.
