Job Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal patients.
- Assist obstetricians during normal and assisted deliveries.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labour.
- Prepare and maintain labour room equipment and sterile environment.
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Identify and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and post-delivery recovery.
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with doctors,



pediatricians, and the nursing team.

Requirements

- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM qualification.
- Valid Kerala Nursing Council (KNMC) Registration.
- Labour Room experience preferred
- Good communication and patient care skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts.
