About the Role
SRM University-AP invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position focused on the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced computing in interdisciplinary domains. Key Research Areas

* Heavy metal contamination and soil mapping

* Hydrological assessment of the Krishna River Basin

* Sediment load forecasting

* Meteorological monitoring and forecasting

* Water and wastewater treatment

* Geospatial analysis using Remote Sensing data (LULC experience preferred)

Research Interests

* AI/ML, QML, AutoML, and SWAT applications

* Environmental Data Science

* Environmental Intelligence

* Pollution and contamination prediction

* Rainfall forecasting

* Remote Sensing and Geospatial Analytics

* Time Series Analysis and Predictive Modelling

* Water quality monitoring (drinking water, groundwater, river water, and aquaculture water)

Eligibility

* Ph.D. degree awarded or thesis submitted

* Research experience in AI/ML applications, Advanced Computing, Remote Sensing,



GIS, Geospatial Analysis, or Environmental Data Science

Fellowship & Benefits

* 1st Year: ₹58,000/month + 16% HRA

* 2nd Year: ₹61,000/month + 16% HRA

* Candidates with thesis submitted: ₹41,000/month + 16% HRA
