Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Recruitment

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for academic and non-academic positions.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and networking channels.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
- Conduct initial screening, HR interviews, salary negotiations, and offer rollouts.
- Ensure timely closure of critical and leadership-level positions.

Employee Lifecycle Management

- Facilitate onboarding, induction, and joining formalities for new employees.
- Maintain employee records, HRMIS data, and documentation.
- Support probation reviews, confirmations, transfers, and separations.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with department heads and leadership teams to fulfill manpower requirements.
- Provide regular hiring updates, recruitment analytics, and manpower reports.




- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to improve hiring effectiveness.

HR Operations & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to HR policies, university guidelines, and labor laws.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and HR programs.
- Handle employee queries and assist in grievance resolution.

Employer Branding

- Promote Chandigarh University's employer brand through social media, job portals, and recruitment campaigns.
- Participate in job fairs, campus hiring drives, and networking events.

Desired Candidate Profile

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or Generalist HR roles.
- Prior experience in Higher Education, EdTech, Media, IT, or Corporate Recruitment will be preferred.
- Strong expertise in recruitment, stakeholder management, and candidate engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major job portals.
