Job Description (JD) – Civil Engineer (Buildings & Towers)

Position: Civil Engineer (Buildings & Tower Construction)
Location: Chhattisgarh

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the construction, supervision, and quality control of building and telecom tower projects across Chhattisgarh. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, contractor management, quality assurance, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise construction of commercial/residential buildings and telecom towers.
- Conduct site surveys, layout marking, and foundation inspections.
- Monitor RCC, structural steel, masonry, and finishing works.
- Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Prepare BOQ, material estimates, and monitor material consumption.
- Verify contractor bills and maintain measurement books (MB).
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with IS Codes and relevant standards.




- Resolve site execution issues and provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Ensure proper documentation, site records, and project handover.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 3–8 years of experience in building construction and telecom tower projects.
- Experience in foundation work, RCC structures, steel structures, and finishing works.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, or Primavera is preferred.
- Familiarity with IS Codes, construction quality standards, and safety practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, and contractor management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in telecom tower foundation and erection works.
- Ability to manage multiple project sites.
- Knowledge of quantity surveying and billing.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Chhattisgarh.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
