Roof and Realms is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect who can independently handle design development, working drawings, BOQ preparation, material specifications, and project coordination. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent drafting skills, and a practical understanding of construction materials, market rates, and execution processes.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Planning

Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed designs.

Prepare presentation drawings, design proposals, and client presentations.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams throughout project stages.

Working Drawings

Prepare accurate architectural working drawings for residential, commercial, and interior projects.

Develop:

Floor plans

Elevations

Sections

Detail drawings

Furniture layouts

Ceiling layouts

Electrical and plumbing coordination drawings

Construction details

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and site requirements.

BOQ & Estimation

Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Perform quantity take-offs from drawings.

Assist in project cost estimation and budgeting.

Track material consumption and project costs.

Material Knowledge & Procurement Support

Possess strong knowledge of:

Civil construction materials

Interior finishing materials

Flooring systems

Stone and tile specifications

Woodwork and modular furniture materials

Paints and coatings

Metal and glass systems

Waterproofing solutions

Compare material options based on quality, durability, and cost.

Support vendor selection and procurement processes.

Costing & Pricing Knowledge





Maintain awareness of current market rates for construction and interior materials.

Analyze quotations from contractors and suppliers.

Assist in cost optimization without compromising design quality.

Site Coordination

Conduct site visits and monitor execution as per drawings.

Resolve site-related design and technical issues.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants.

Verify measurements and execution quality.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory)

SketchUp

V-Ray / Lumion (Preferred)

Microsoft Excel for BOQ and costing

Adobe Photoshop (Preferred)

Revit (Added advantage)

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)

Registration with the Council of Architecture preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in residential and commercial projects.

Ability to independently manage drawings and documentation.

Strong understanding of construction materials and execution practices.

Experience preparing BOQs, estimates, and cost analysis reports.

Good communication and client-handling skills.

Ability to work within project timelines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
