Our multidisciplinary R&D; combines chemistry, nanotechnology, optics, embedded electronics, AI, and IoT to build next-generation analytical and sensing platforms.

We are looking for a passionate Research Associate – Organic & Nanochemistry to join our R&D; team and contribute to the development of advanced functional materials, nanostructures, and chemical sensing technologies.

EligibilityEssential Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry, Nanochemistry, Materials Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Physical Chemistry, or
- Ph.D. Scholar (final year/submitted thesis) or Ph.D. in Chemistry with relevant specialization.

Experience

- 0–3 years of research or industrial R&D; experience.
- Fresh M.Sc. graduates with solid laboratory and project experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and synthesize organic molecules, polymers, ligands, and functional materials.
- Develop and optimize nanomaterials including metal nanoparticles,



metal oxides, carbon nanomaterials, quantum dots, and nanocomposites.
- Develop sensing materials for optical, electrochemical, and environmental monitoring applications.
- Perform laboratory experiments involving synthesis, purification, characterization, and optimization of materials.
- Characterize materials using UV-Visible Spectroscopy, FTIR, Raman Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, XRD, SEM, TEM, DLS, TGA/DSC, and electrochemical techniques.
- Assist in the development of chemical and biosensors for water quality and environmental monitoring.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports, SOPs, research papers, and patent disclosures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including optics, electronics, embedded systems, AI, and mechanical engineering to translate research into commercial products.
- Maintain laboratory safety standards, inventory, and research documentation.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.
- Experience in nanomaterial synthesis and surface functionalization.
- Hands-on laboratory skills and analytical instrumentation.
- Scientific literature review and experimental planning.
- Technical report writing and documentation.
- Good understanding of laboratory safety and quality practices.

Preferred Skills

- Electrochemistry and sensor development.
- Conductive polymers and nanocomposites.
- Surface chemistry and thin-film coating techniques.
- Optical spectroscopy and fluorescence-based sensing.
- Molecular imprinting or supramolecular chemistry.
- Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, Origin, or statistical data analysis tools.
- Scientific publications or patents will be an added advantage.
