Job Title - Quality Control Engineer – Machine Shop (CMM)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in a machine shop environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CMM inspection and be familiar with quality inspection processes for precision-machined components produced on CNC, VMC, and HMC machines.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform dimensional inspection of machined components using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and customer specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, CMM reports, and quality documentation.
- Identify quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure products meet customer quality standards and internal specifications.




- Coordinate with production and machining teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Monitor calibration status of measuring instruments.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 quality procedures (if applicable).

Required Skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control in a CNC machine shop.
- Hands-on experience operating and programming CMM.
- Knowledge of CNC, VMC, and HMC machining processes.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inspection reports, quality documentation).

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems is an advantage.

Pay: ₹19,727.05 - ₹25,000.00 per month
