Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels

2. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

3. Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.

4. Monitor production progress and update schedules as required.

5. Ensure timely delivery of products as per committed deadlines.

6. Maintain optimum inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).

7. Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements in production processes.

8. Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

9. Implement and monitor ERP/MRP systems for planning activities.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling





Understanding of supply chain and inventory management

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Positive communication and coordination abilities

Time management and multitasking skills

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Experience:

1–5 years of experience in production planning & control (manufacturing industry preferred).
