Job Title: Lab Chemist
Location: Sonipat Haryana
Qualification: BSc/Msc Chemistry
Experience: 2 to 5 Years

Key ResponsibilitiesFor Job Role:

1. Analytical Testing

 Perform complete chemical analysis of Raw Materials, in-process samples, and finished pigments as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).  Conduct titrations, iodometric titrations, gravimetric analysis (to establish inorganic material in the product), and quantitative analysis.

 Carry out standard moisture testing and prepare standard solutions/reagents.

 Operate and maintain instrumental analysis equipment including pH meters, conductivity meters, Spectrophotometers, Turbidity meters, and Karl Fischer titrators.

 Ensure routine calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance of lab instruments while maintaining precise analytical records.

2. Water & Effluent Testing

 Monitor and test raw water, process water, boiler water, cooling water, and treated effluent.

 Analyze critical environmental parameters: pH, TDS, COD, BOD, DO, TSS, Chlorides, Sulphates, Ammonia, and Heavy metals.





 Partner closely with Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP & RO) operations by delivering timely analytical data.

 Ensure strict compliance with local Pollution Control Board (PCB) regulations and statutory norms.

3. Documentation, Safety & Compliance

 Record all test results accurately and promptly in logbooks/LIMS and prepare Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for QC-approved materials.

 Maintain laboratory compliance with ISO, NABL, or GLP standards and support internal/external audits.

 Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols and EHS guidelines for handling acids, solvents, and hazardous chemicals.  Manage chemical inventory and enforce proper waste disposal practices.
