The BIM Engineer – Structural Engineering will be responsible for developing and managing structural BIM models, preparing detailed drawings, and supporting design coordination across disciplines. This role includes ensuring BIM standards compliance, participating in clash detection reviews, and assisting structural engineers with analysis and documentation. The ideal candidate is proficient in Revit, knowledgeable in structural design and detailing, and capable of providing technical support to junior modelers while maintaining accuracy and consistency in deliverables.
Key Responsibilities (Financial)
- Develop and manage structural BIM models using software like Revit.
- Prepare drawings, schedules, and details from the BIM model.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (Architectural, MEP) to resolve clashes and design issues.
- Maintain model accuracy, standards, and version control.
- Assist in BIM execution plans and ensure compliance with project BIM standards.
- Support structural engineers in design visualization, analysis, and documentation.
- Participate in clash detection and quality control reviews.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM modelers.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
- 0 –6 years of experience in structural BIM modelling.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and detailing.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
