Renumeration: As per market standard

- Should have good in-depth product knowledge.
- Should have ability to manage the entire merchandising process from development to shipping.
- Should have ability to coordinate with design, PD and vendors for sample developments and costings.
- Should liaison with supplier to manage material sourcing, costing/ margins and order placements.
- Ensure daily accurate communications between vendors & teams to ensure quality and on time delivery.
- Ability to explore and grow the vendor bases to grow the product categories with the buyers.
- Timely order follow up with vendors as per the T & A and maintaining data files accurately for status review.
- Work closely with the Planning /Compliance/QA Teams to place and monitor progress of the orders.




- Work with Logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and deliveries.

Profile and skills required:

- Good Product Knowledge
- Solid verbal and written communication
- Ability to understand the different markets and secure customer’s confidence
- Must be very proficient in MS office including in-depth knowledge of excel and power point.
- Should have a decision making and solution oriented approach.
- Previous buying office experience is a plus.
- Must have handled woven and knits categories for both Domestic and International brands/retailers.
