Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automobile Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain passenger and commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in vehicle systems, be capable of handling complex repairs, and guide junior technicians to ensure high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults.
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot engine, transmission, suspension, braking, steering, and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Carry out repairs as per manufacturer standards and service procedures.
- Inspect vehicles and ensure quality checks before delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians.
- Maintain service records and job cards accurately.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding repair status and customer concerns.





Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of automobile systems and diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with engine overhaul and vehicle repairs.
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic scanners.
- Knowledge of petrol, diesel, and BS6 vehicles.
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualification

- ITI (Motor Mechanic Vehicle) / Diploma in Automobile Engineering / BE in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant certifications from automotive OEMs are an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Toyota, Honda, Kia, MG, BYD, or other OEMs.
- Experience in authorized service centers or multi-brand workshops is preferred.
