Social Media Manager – Electrical/Engineering Industry

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to manage and strengthen our company’s digital presence across various social media platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a background in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, along with practical experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, and technical content.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Manage social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Plan and maintain monthly and quarterly content calendars.
- Create engaging content related to electrical/engineering projects, site activities, company updates, and services.
- Create and coordinate content such as:
- Project updates and site photographs
- Project videos and before-and-after content
- Technical and educational posts
- Electrical safety awareness content
- Employee spotlights and company culture
- Recruitment and employer branding campaigns
- Corporate announcements and achievements
- Client testimonials and case studies
- Infographics, Reels, Shorts and other video content
- Maintain consistent branding and communication across all social media platforms.
- Plan and monitor paid social media campaigns.
- Track social media performance, engagement and campaign results.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers and internal teams.
- Coordinate photography and video shoots at project sites and company events.
- Travel to project locations when required for content creation.
- Respond professionally to comments, messages and online enquiries.
- Monitor industry trends,



competitor activities and social media developments.
- Support HR with recruitment campaigns and employer branding initiatives.

Required Skills

Candidates should have practical knowledge of:

- Meta Business Suite
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Canva
- Adobe Photoshop – Preferred
- Adobe Illustrator – Preferred
- Adobe Premiere Pro / CapCut
- Google Analytics
- Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
- WordPress – Preferred
- AI content tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.

Candidate Requirements

- Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: 1–4 years preferred; candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- Relevant experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing or technical/engineering content.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative thinking and understanding of current social media trends.
- Ability to create content suitable for technical and professional audiences.
- Comfortable working from the office and travelling to project sites when required.
- Notice Period: Immediate joiners to candidates with a maximum notice period of 30 days.
