DMU Study and BIW process planning for DP trial execution.

Prototype welding jig concept making and jig development through supplier.

Sourcing (RFQ, Negotiation, Target Cost, PO) of Welding jigs.

BIW inspection and countermeasure for meeting accuracy target.

Sheet metal parts inspection and holding fixture concept making.

Layout and facility planning.

Create extensive process and sustainable check-sheets for part inspection and quality checks

Competencies

Essential

Sound understanding of passenger vehicle construction and quality requirements.

Knowledge of welding processes and general understanding of machining process

Knowledge of welding jigs and fixture for spot welding operation.





Knowledge of inspection processes of sheet metal parts and BIW (like CMM/Laser scanning)

Knowledge of part drawings, Tolerance stack up, basic GD&T; and SES quality standards

Basic UG/CAD skill

Desirable

Valuable communication skill, interaction with internal customer and suppliers

Project management, execution and monitoring skill

Quality management system (ISO) knowledge

Work Experience

3~5 yrs Experience in Automobile Industry (Passenger Vehicle),

Design and development of welding jigs for BIW Manufacturing and Quality Control

Education Qualification

B.E. /B TECH (Mechanical Engg/Automobile/Production/Industrial)
