At Sri Landstar Properties, The Quality Checking (QC) Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities in apartment projects meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes. The role involves inspecting work at every stage of construction, identifying defects, monitoring corrective actions, and maintaining quality documentation to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect all construction activities, including excavation, foundation, RCC works, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, and finishing works.
- Verify that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections before, during, and after each stage of construction.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
- Monitor the quality of materials delivered to the site and verify compliance with approved standards.
- Check reinforcement, formwork, concrete quality, and finishing works before approval.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project managers to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality checklists, material approval records, and test reports.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality management systems, and local building regulations.
- Participate in project handover inspections, snagging, and de-snagging activities.
- Assist in internal and external quality audits and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control for residential or apartment building construction (or as required by the employer).
- Knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
