About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to independently manage the complete Direct and Indirect Taxation function of our organization.

This is a specialized taxation role and not a general accounting position. We are looking for candidates with strong practical experience in GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, Tax Assessments, Audits, Tax Planning, Litigation, and Statutory Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, ITC reconciliation, e-Invoicing, and E-Way Bills.
- Prepare and review Income Tax Returns for companies and directors.
- Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS/TCS returns.
- Handle GST and Income Tax assessments, audits, departmental notices, and litigation.
- Draft replies to notices and coordinate with tax authorities and consultants.
- Prepare advance tax workings and support tax planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
- Review tax-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Guide junior finance team members on taxation matters and ensure timely compliance.

Required Qualifications





- CA / CA Inter / CMA / CMA Inter / M.Com with extensive taxation experience.
- Additional certification in GST or Direct Taxation will be an advantage.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, and Tax Audit.
- Hands-on experience in tax assessments, audits, departmental proceedings, and litigation.
- Excellent understanding of statutory compliance and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience handling taxation for multiple companies and exposure to industries.
