Key Responsibilities

- Conduct genetic risk assessments based on personal and family medical history.
- Provide pre-test and post-test genetic counseling.
- Educate patients and families about genetic conditions, inheritance patterns, and testing options.
- Coordinate genetic testing and ensure informed consent is obtained.
- Interpret genetic test reports in collaboration with consultants.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Coordinate with oncologists, physicians, laboratory teams, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and refer patients for additional services when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality.

Qualification

- Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling / Medical Genetics / Human Genetics or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in genetic counseling or a clinical genetics setting (freshers with relevant training may be considered).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
