Position: Maintenance Head Pithampur Factory

Location: Sector 3, Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh

Facility Size: ~200,000 sq. ft | Multi-shift operations

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for CNC, automated, and manual equipment.

Set preventive maintenance (PM) standards, objectives, and downtime targets.

Team Leadership

Lead a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring shift-wise coverage and timely maintenance execution.

Drive skills development, safety training, and performance reviews.

Equipment Reliability & Downtime Control

Monitor equipment performance via MTBF / MTTR metrics and implement redesigns to minimize breakdowns.

Enforce strict root-cause analysis (RCA) routines post-machine downtime.

Spare Parts Management

Maintain a critical spare-parts register, optimize procurement cycles, and manage inventory obsolescence.

Budget & Cost Control

Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets, reducing costs through efficiency and predictive practices.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety norms (LOTO, PPE, SOPs), statutory machine certifications, and factory audit readiness.

Technical Improvements

Lead continuous improvements in machine uptime, precision calibration, and energy efficiency.





Coordinate with engineering teams for new machine commissioning and retrofitting.

Vendor & External Coordination

Manage relationships with external service providers, OEMs, and technical support teams.

Oversee SLA adherence and escalations.

Reporting & Documentation

Track maintenance KPIs (uptime, failure rate, etc.), generate monthly MIS reports, and present to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Experience- 10-15+ years in heavy manufacturing, ideally with woodworking/furniture plants

Technical Skills - Knowledge of CNC , PLC/VFD systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, beginner CAD/SAP familiarity

Certifications- ISO audits, Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen, Safety (OSHA or HazCom, Indian norms) preferred

Soft Skills - Robust leadership, analytical thinker, proactive communication, decision-making
