Job Description – Senior Site Engineer (Civil)

Position: Senior Site Engineer (Civil)
Location: IIT Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Qualification: B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience: 6–8 Years (Building Construction Projects)
Language: Telugu – Mandatory
Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Key Responsibilities :

- Supervise and execute day-to-day construction activities as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Plan and manage manpower, materials, machinery, and site resources efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures, IS codes, and safety regulations.
- Verify measurements, prepare work progress reports, and maintain daily site records.
- Identify and resolve site execution issues to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Review construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications before execution.




- Coordinate inspections and ensure all work is completed as per approved standards.
- Support project planning, billing, and documentation activities.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, and structural execution.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of project planning software is an added advantage).
- Robust problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Experience in institutional, commercial, or high-rise building construction projects.
- Willing to relocate to IIT Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
- Telugu language proficiency is mandatory.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
