We are setting up an in-house laboratory and quality control function for our biofertilizer plant. The Microbiologist will manage lab operations, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage microbiology lab infrastructure and SOPs.
- Conduct microbial culture analysis, CFU counts, contamination checks, and strain purity tests.
- Monitor fermentation processes and inoculum preparation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, BIS, and FCO guidelines.
- Maintain QC documentation and support audits.
- Collaborate with production and train staff on microbiological handling.
Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biotechnology.
- 2–4 years of industrial microbiology experience (biofertilizer/fermentation preferred).
- Hands-on expertise in microbial culture techniques and lab equipment.
- Robust knowledge of regulatory standards and GLP/GMP practices.
