Job Summary
3-5 years of Experience in AS400 (RPG400/RPGLE/SQL/DB2400) development on enterprise level applications
Expertise with ILE Concepts/Implementer, service programs, commitment control, journaling, interactive & batch debugging
Excellent knowledge of ways of working in Agile/Jira domain
Must have experience working in onshore/offshore delivery model, single point of contact for iSeries development team
Ability to develop functional requirements and technical design documents
Review code based on technical specifications and mentor, guide fellow team members
Should be able to independently develop/analyze the program execute units and provide solutions.
Ability to follow coding and development standards and produce structured code and documentation




Ability to relate well with business users and work with cross functional teams
Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment against tight deadlines
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter that will take ownership of assignments and drive to completion with minimal supervision
Good oral and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills
Interest in new technologies and willingness to learn and work in support project
Willing to work in afternoon shifts IST and going beyond, weekend on call/night support, etc. based on the criticality and business urgency.
