- Review ownership documents, parent documents, encumbrance certificates, and approvals.
- Identify legal risks and provide mitigation strategies.
2. Documentation & Contracts
- Draft, vet, and negotiate:
- Sale Agreements
- Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
- Power of Attorney (POA)
- Lease Agreements
- Vendor Contracts
- Ensure all agreements are legally compliant and protect company interests.
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- RERA regulations
- Local land laws and municipal approvals
- Liaise with government authorities for approvals and registrations.
4. Litigation Management
- Handle legal disputes related to land, customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with external lawyers and represent the company in courts/tribunals.
- Track and manage ongoing cases and legal notices.
5. Project Legal Support
- Provide legal support to sales, marketing, and CRM teams.
- Review customer agreements and resolve legal queries.
- Ensure proper legal documentation for project launches.
6. Risk Management & Advisory
- Identify legal risks in projects and business decisions.
- Advise management on legal implications and compliance requirements.
- Develop internal legal policies and SOPs.
