Objectives of Position:

Assistant personnel officer is responsible for carrying out various marketing activities in given budget and to fill the seats for the various courses carried out by SIMS

Relationship:

Reports to Manager-Marketing

Responsibilities:

- Giving counseling to students for various courses offered by SIMS.

- Providing appropriate career guidance based on their qualifications and areas of interest.

- Generating inquiries and following up on them.

- Representing the institute at exhibitions, education fairs, and info desks.

- Organizing seminars and events in different institutes, colleges, and universities.

- Giving presentations in colleges and coaching classes, maintaining long-term relationships with them.

- Implementing pre- and post-marketing activities for the successful completion of courses.

- Conducting market research targeting groups such as educational institutes, students, and alumni to examine market trends and preferences for SEA courses.





- Analyzing competitors' information and suggesting improvements to attract current clients to SIMS.

- Conducting corporate promotional and business development campaigns for SIMS, bringing in new business by prospecting.

- Coordinating between various SIMS field offices and institutes, conducting complete entrance exam procedures in respective areas.

- Assisting in arranging education loans for candidates.

- Liaising and necessary coordination with DG Shipping, IMU, approved doctors, and government agencies towards planning, conducting, and implementing entrance exams and the complete selection process.

Qualification Required:

- Candidate must be master Degree holder – MBA- Marketing/ PGDBM - Marketing/ Diploma in sales/ marketing
