Job Title: Business Development Executive (Paint Industry – Chennai)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Business Development Executive to strengthen our B2B customer base in the paint and coatings industry. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the paint field, preferably within the market, along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, develop, and manage recent B2B clients in the paint, coatings, and manufacturing sector.
- Generate leads through market research, cold calling, industry visits, and networking in the Chennai, Hosur and Coimbatore region.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams (Production, QC, Logistics) to ensure timely delivery and service.
- Prepare and present quotations, commercial proposals, and technical product details.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor tracking, and identify potential growth opportunities in the paint market.
- Visit customer sites for product demonstrations, sample collection, and follow-ups.
- Maintain proper sales reports, customer database, and update CRM/Excel sheets regularly.




- Participate in exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events related to the paint and coatings industry.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales in the paint / coatings industry (mandatory).
- Prior field sales experience in market (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of industrial paint customers, OEMs,and distributors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage field activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory).

Education

- Any Degree / Diploma (Technical background in Paint Technology / Chemical / Polymer / Mechanical is an added advantage).
