We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in accounting and possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, particularly debits and credits.
Responsibilities for Junior Accountant
- Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Prepare and maintain journals, ledgers, and other accounting records.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and financial audits.
- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist senior accountants with financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, especially debits and credits.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Infor LN, )
- Basic understanding of tax laws and financial regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
