Position: Pre-Primary Teacher (Nursery, PP1 & PP2)

Job Summary

Sanctus World School is seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Pre-Primary Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning workplace for young learners. The teacher will implement the school’s CBSE and International (Finnish-inspired) early years curriculum, focusing on holistic child development through activity-based and experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.

* Foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.

* Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

* Conduct hands-on learning activities, storytelling, phonics, numeracy, art, music, and play-based learning.

* Observe, assess, and maintain student progress records and portfolios.

* Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and well-being.

* Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and classroom displays.

* Ensure classroom discipline while encouraging creativity and independent thinking.

* Participate in school events, parent meetings,



trainings, and professional development programs.

* Collaborate effectively with coordinators, co-teachers, and support staff.

* Follow all school policies related to child safety, health, and welfare.

Eligibility

* Bachelor’s Degree with a Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education (NTT, Montessori, ECCEd, D.El.Ed., or equivalent).

* Excellent English communication skills.

* Prior teaching experience in a CBSE or International school is preferred.

* Freshers with strong communication skills and a passion for teaching may also apply.
