Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L1 support for Azure and GCP cloud infrastructure, monitoring alerts and tickets
- Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of incidents related to VMs, storage, networking, and IAM
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation
- Monitor cloud resource health using native tools (Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Monitoring/Stackdriver)
- Handle basic user access requests, password resets, and permission changes
- Maintain incident logs and update ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira, etc.)
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for common issues
- Support patching, backup verification, and routine maintenance tasks
- Ensure SLAs are met for ticket response and resolution at L1 level
Required Skills:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Azure administration/support
- Working knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC)
- Familiarity with ticketing tools and incident management processes
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Positive communication skills for shift handovers and escalations
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (24x7 support environment, if applicable)
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) / Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer (preferred, not mandatory)
