Role Descriptions: Key Responsibilities

Design| develop and enhance SAP BW on HANA and BW4HANA data warehousing solutions based on business requirements.

Create and maintain BW objects such as Info

Objects| ADSOs| Composite Providers| Open ODS Views| Data

Sources| Transformations| DTPs and Process Chains.

Develop extraction| transformation and loading processes from SAP and non-SAP source systems.

Build and optimize BEx Queries| Analysis for Office reports and analytical reporting solutions.

Develop ABAP routines including Start Routines| End Routines| Expert Routines and Customer Exits as required.

Monitor process chains and data loads troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis for production issues.

Perform data reconciliation and resolve reporting| extraction| transformation and loading issues.

Implement performance optimization techniques for data loads| models and queries.

Support enhancements| change requests| unit testing| integration testing| deployment and production support activities.

Collaborate with business users to gather| analyze and document reporting and analytics requirements.

Prepare technical documentation| support handover| and conduct knowledge transfer sessions where required.

Required Technical SkillsSAP BW BW on HANA Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW 7.x| SAP BW on HANA and BW4HANA concepts.

Data Modeling Experience with ADSO| Composite Provider| Info

Performance Tuning Ability to optimize data loads| query performance and BW objects using suitable techniques.

Functional Exposure Good understanding of SAP ECC S4HANA modules such as FI| CO| MM| SD and Procurement.





Troubleshooting Solid debugging| incident analysis| issue resolution and data reconciliation skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to SAP HANA Modeling and Calculation Views.

Experience or working knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Exposure to S4HANA Embedded Analytics and CDS Views.

Knowledge of SAP Datasphere SAP Business Data Cloud will be an added advantage.

Exposure to SAP BODS| SLT or other data integration tools.SAP BW4HANA or related SAP certification preferred.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Engineering| Computer Science| Information Technology| or a related discipline.
